The Frog Pond Pavilion does turn into an ice skating rink in winter. This I learned from a woman who chatted with me over lunch (I ate sushi and she, McDonald's). I'll hit it up at first freeze.

Laura, your blog is way more interesting than mine. Any tips on how I can make mine more interesting? If I had blogged while i was in New York last summer I would have had tons of crazy stuff to write about.
Welcome to beantown! I predict the 'first freeze' you've mentioned will happen within 2 months. When can I entice y'all up to the north shore for some of the best ice cream around? And will the Schmidts venture up here now that we're both nearby? And while I'm asking impertinent questions, what in the world has L. put in her blog entries that the filter we use here at GC thinks is "objectionable content?" If you haven't eaten at Veggie Planet in Cambridge yet, don't, so that I can be the one to take you.
Barb, I think that would be the word "naked."
